Intrusion

Intrusion systems use a variety of devices to detect and alert when unauthorized access or activity occurs. Here's a simple breakdown of the most common components:

Security alarm control panel displaying system disarmed, ready to arm, with options for global arm, stay armed, partition status, zone status, photos, and advance arm.
A white security alarm keypad with a blue display screen showing the message 'System is Ready to Arm <>'.

Used to arm and disarm the system. Users enter a code to control the system, and some models have touchscreens or display system alerts.

A metal electrical control panel box with an open front, revealing a green printed circuit board (PCB) with various electronic components inside.
